Certain parts of New York are on the border of Connecticut and, for whatever reason, ticks don't seem to recognize state lines. My doctor once said to me, after I had contracted Lyme, "it's not a matter of whether you contract Lyme disease [in the Hudson Valley], but when ."

Lyme and Old Lyme, Connecticut are in the eastern part of the state, not an area that borders New York.

Missed Manhattan because I got Long Island and Staten Island, and then fixated on answers with "Island" in the name. Roosevelt Island...no. Governor's Island...no. What else could there be? Didn't know IBM was based in New York.
