You'd think she'd be popular enough right now to do better than that. Katherine Hepburn only has 4%, pretty hard to believe a bona fide acting legend unrecognizable to quiz hounds.
I can't believe Kate Hepburn is so low. Four Oscars and eleven nominations, two Emmys, long time love affair with Spencer Tracy... Has no one seen The African Queen, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, The Lion in Winter, Bringing up Baby, On Golden Pond...what else do you do on rainy days with a big bowl of popcorn in front of you? Sigh. I'm feeling very old. (My DIL works weekends so our son often visits us then and we watch movies. We have a deal that he chooses one and then I choose one to watch, so I have watched many Marvel movies and I enjoy them, but he also admits that he is enjoying the old films, too.) Do yourselves a favor and watch some of the old ones, too. Katherine Hepburn deserves the title of Hollywood legend and deserves to be remembered by this generation.
I missed Jennifer Lawrence because that picture for some reason doesn't look like her. I have seen many of her movies, and I didn't recognize her. I recommend a better picture for this clue.
I don't know why Hollywood actors don't release flattering head shots into the public domain. There are a paucity of high quality, free-to-use images of celebrities.
I completely missed her, and she's one of my favorite actresses. I remember her best from her older roles - The Reader (a fantastic film) and Sense and Sensibility, (the Ang Lee version) one of my favorite films of all time.
She was so good in Winter's Bone - a difficult watch, but an attorney I know says that film should be required watching for every high school student, especially those living in the Missouri Ozarks.
What? Too soon?
I also knew Maryl Streep but I was not able to write correctly her name.
Most of the others I knew but I did not know their name.
I couldn't tell who it is!
