Can't believe I forgot Brooklyn was once a city. Also missed the New Jersey ones, Milwaukee, and Providence (which I knew was old, but it's not that big today).

It's pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land."

You can get clothing that says 'Milwaukee' along with 'The Good Land' on it. It all comes together...

Got them all except Louisville. I remembered Brooklyn showing up on the biggest American cities by decade quiz.

Same thing! Wouldn't have gotten Brooklyn except for that decades quiz. And Louisville....never saw that one coming.

I watched something on YouTube on biggest U.S cities, from Independence Day to present day, and I saw Brooklyn appearing for a lot of years then just poof! Gone, guessed it was absorbed, the thing is that Brooklyn would be the third most populous city right now if it was a city, near to Chicago population, but hundred of thousands people ahead of Houston

Could accept "Jersey" for Jersey City. I thought of Jersey, but gave up when jersey didn't give it. If I'm typing jersey it's pretty clear I mean jersey city.

As a New Jerseyan (New Jerseyite? New Jerseyer?), I've heard "Jersey" be used to describe my state occasionally, but I've never heard it to describe Jersey City. I've only ever heard "Jersey City" to refer to said city.

If I do hear someone say "Jersey," and they aren't referring to the Jersey several thousand miles away, I'd assume they were talking about the state, not the city.

Currently in the 2.7% who have 100% (It did take me two tries, but I took them months apart, so I didn't remember my answers from the first attempt). I think this is the highest percentile I've ever been in.
