One out of every fourteen times, you will get the same country as the previous time. When that happens, remember that you can just reload the page again.
This quiz was featured via the nominations process. It is so extensive that it would take multiple days of work to verify everything so I will trust in the quizmaker (HinesBrothers) to handle any problems.
As the Quizmaster noted, it's not practical to fact-check everything, so much of these answers have not been updated since 2020 or so. Please let me know if any of the answers are out of date or incorrect.
Excellent quiz! I can't imagine I've missed it. But the most important is that I finally discovered it. Thanks for this very nice quiz, and nominated, of course!
There's a couple of issues with the quiz; The yellow box disappears after first question so you can only answer the questions in the given order and are stuck if there's one you don't know. The counter doesn't work so you can't see how many correct answers you have. Finally, sometimes the number to the left indicates the position of the given country and sometimes how many is in front (so if it says 3 it seems arbitrary if there is 2 or 3 possible answers).
Love the Quiz! Just one suggestion, for the North Korea version the question "Least recognized JetPunk country" is a bit confusing, maybe "least internationally recognized" or least politically recognized" would be clearer? I got there in the end, but spent a lot of time guessing countries that people might not recognize on a map-quiz.
This quiz asks for countries, and has no note that a country may no longer exist. In most Jetpunk cases, that means only modern-day countries. So for a question for Germany, I answered "Russia", but the correct answer was the Soviet Union.
Only 2/16 countries have the Soviet Union as an answer in a situation where Russia would be incorrect. I thus do not think that it is a relevant enough point to add a caveat, but I will accept Russia from now on in those situations.
On this quiz, it says that New Zealand has the second most cows per capita, but on the separate Countries that beat New Zealand quizzes, it says New Zealand is third
I had North Korea, it really does surprise me that they are supposedly more violent then for example Iran who stakes its entire economy to support terrorist groups abroad while also oppressing it’s own people in various ways, Israel who are violently colonizing their neighbours, mexico are suffering humongous internal conflict with a very high death toll. I know that data is not rapidly available for north korea but to assume that they have a more violent country than any of these I just mentioned and many more seems odd.
To me, that would make it a lot more interesting and different from the "normal" countries that beat [x] quizzes.
Also “consuming” is misspelt in “Top per-person beef cosuming country”.
Thanks for a fun quiz.
How can Switzerland possibly be less peaceful than Japan (but also more peaceful than, say, Federated Republics of Micronesia) ??
