Me, too. Been in St. Pete since 1956, and I would never have guessed some of these cities.

And I only know Port St. Lucie because of the nuclear power plant there.

hm... no Daytona, Daytona Beach, Ormond, Panama City/PC Beach, Key West (I know, it's tiny), Pensacola, Ft Myers, St Augustine, Naples, Kissimmee... places that non-Floridians would actually know. I only got 9.

I had the same problem. I've heard of very few of these.

I'd like to see a quiz asking about the largest metro areas - it might be easier for us non-residents. Having said that, it's always nice to learn new things so this is a good quiz, too.

My grandparents used to own a condo in Naples, and they would go down there almost every winter. I used to go down there quite a bit when I was younger.

Daytona Beach appears in the top 100 metro areas in the USA quiz, but can't crack this list?

Yes, as Miami proper has only 400k in the figure above. Miami metro area is around 3 mil I believe. Tough quiz.

Jacksonville is only #1 because they count the entire county of Duval as the city. I believe it is also the largest city by area in the lower 48 states. (Again, because it's an entire county.)

Uncle Butch and my other family members in Jacksonville used to talk a lot about how Jacksonville was bigger than Orlando or Miami or Tallahassee but didn't get as much attention. I wonder if they knew this.

I don't think he moved there until the 70s.

not quite the whole county..., there are some parts unincorporated and the beach towns (Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach, Atlantic Beach) are all their own municipalities. But, most of Duval counties population is in the city of Jacksonville.

The average score is 7/20?

I think a lot of non-U.S.A. people who complain about other quizzes being U.S.A.-centric must be secretly taking this blatant U.S.A.-centric quiz.

Why secretely? It clearly says it is about a USA place/subject, so it would be normal to expect all american answers.

Palm Beach is very tiny. It's exclusive and ritzy, but sparsely populated. WPB is pretty large and stretches deep into Palm Beach County.
