Any chance you could be a bit more lenient on this one? I typed something pretty similar to Dnipropetrovsk but it wasn't accepted.

That was a great idea! Some new cities out there, although personally thought there were way too many Russian ones. Also some duh-moments when you realise you didn't look at quite the whole square. (Looking at you, Mallorca!)

Maybe you could look into making Russia smaller?

It does take up a lot of room, and I’d love to see Mongolia have some room to grow. Also, I think the Ukraine is entitled to a little somethin’ somethin’ in return for the Crimea.

I just want them to make Andorra bigger, it's hard to see it and appreciate the many cities it hold :(

Well you could easily drop the last column, I think more people will be for it than against it. You wont lose any famous ones (well I guess sochi is famous, but that is because of the olympics and it is still only guessed 20% If it ddnt had that row to begin with I dont think people would have made comments like "hey where is sochi!" like they would if moscow was missing for instance.).

But... this quiz is not about subjectivity. Anyone who thinks the quiz is difficult, well yes it is. But you can try and learn from it, rather than just make it easier.

Aw man, I was one letter off of Archangelsk and knew that the site takes "Nizny" for the one Novgorod but I thought it took just Novgorod for the other one. Should have gotten those two...
+1
Level 76
Jul 23, 2019
Just "Novgorod" should be accepted for Velikiy Novgorod though. It's the short name for the city, like "Nizhniy" for Nizhniy Novgorod.

How strange. Novgorod will be accepted for that now.

A lot of standard and alternate spellings don't fly on this quiz. A lot of time wasted decoding which spellings are the only ones accepted.

Great idea for a quiz. I am amazed the average score is so high.

I missed a few I shouldn't have but even so there are a lot of answers I would never have got. I do agree on possibly making Russia a bit smaller though.

Great quiz! Eventhough I got below avergae. I Never would ve gotten the ones below 22% (-sochi) Above the 50% (+bergen) are well known and really should ve gotten all of those but missed a few big ones like stockholm and glasgow, facepalm....

That leaves the 23-50% Heard of those, but besides bristol and skopje good chance I wouldnt have thought of them

all in all, I missed 7 I really shouldnt have gotten, but blanked. those 7 would ve gotten me above average but only just. Good challenge ! hopefully when I do thisquiz again the future I will get all that are currently above 23% (or atleast above the 50 % ;) )
