Nice one! Somehow missed the -sters, then got one from each pair, besides two.

what about oyster?

Level 62
Jan 28, 2023
Oyster does not have 7 letters. This quiz is not comprehensive.

Fine suggestion, should be added.

Yes, I tried oyster too, only to realize that it only has six letters.

I've watched too many cooking shows, one of the first ones I got was the Q-one. They are always cooking that. Missed the other one of the pair. They should cook more of those.

Also would've expected turkey to be much higher up. Considering the time of the year.

Staring at them didn't help but then started adding x's (xxxster etc) in place of letters and got them all...albeit with one second to spare!
+14
Level 71
Nov 26, 2016
You could add oyster to the -ster animals

Nice observation! I did think about it, but I liked the trio of seven-letter answers, so limited it to that. :)

Oyster was the first thing I tried before anything else, after realising it was not enough letters it took some effort to get the rodent one, even more to get the marine one and didnt get the farm animal at all... (didnt want go give away much to people that scan comments for answers...)

agreed, lobster and earwig? no oyster?

I grew up lobster fishing. The only one I didn't get.

I just couldn't get past the alphabetical order of a hipster being a definite creature.

Agree with oyster. I think oyster is more common than earwig.

Likewise. Took me forever to think of Baboon because I couldn't get loon out of my head.

Crossedthe my mind aswell, but decide not to try it. Perhaps as hidden answer, like an easteregg, if that is possible? Unless that screws with the stats maybe.

A bit surprised a lot of people are familiar with a toucan but not a pelican.
+9
Level 43
Jan 25, 2017
The "can" sound is much more prevalent in toucan than pelican. I pronounce it pel-i-ken, so it never came to mind. Where as, two-can jumped right out there.

Level 66
Jan 28, 2023
Toucan and Pelican are pronounced with the same ending with an English pronounciation, so it must be your accent is different

I doubt people are unfamiliar with the ones they missed. It is not click the checkbox of the animals you have heard of. You have to come up with them yourself. And pretty sure that more than half of the people have heard of a hamster (which is only at 48 at the moment)

Rooster is not an animal!

It is a male chicken.

Also a guineapig was not included.

Not impressed!
