That probably holds true for most of the quiz, but there are certainly other things at play. South Asia (India in particular) has a very high percentage of vegans.
Small correction. A very high percentage of vegetarians, not vegans. Dairy is a big part of diet and culture here.
Also even among those who consume meat (and this is what I have heard also from Pakistani acquaintances, who all eat meat), it is not consumed on a daily basis
Huh, I've always been under the impression that Pakistan was a meat-eating nation. It might just be they have that reputation because they eat significantly more meat than most of their South Asian neighbors. Either way though, it's interesting to see that their poultry consumption has risen by 2,771%!
