The map at http://bonap.org/2015_SpecialtyMaps/Density%20Gradient%202015/original/2tax22_Palms.png suggests that Arkansas should be added and Nevada and Maryland removed.

Found out Nevada has planted trees along with Maryland. I never knew Arkansas had wild palms.

They are actually palmetto trees not the tall variety that most people think of as palm trees. At least that's all I've ever seen there.

cause we naturally think of the coastline states and get the two non-mainland states out of the way first... sometimes subconsciously. Or at least that's why I did, just in case.

Are you using obvious as a verb? If so then I'd have to disagree and say he is not obviousing correctly.

Compared to most of the southeast, NC does not have nearly as much palm trees. States like SC, Florida, Georgia are all much more densely populated with palms. I’m from NC and I had to think about it for a second bc most of our palms are generally in parts of the OBX or other islands and coastal areas. They’re not nearly as common to see in the state. Some beaches plant them but that wouldn’t probably qualify under the “native” criteria

If you hadn't added the native criteria, goofballs would be crying about the potted palm in the Juneau bank lobby.

To be fair, that's a pretty great plant. Really sets the tone for a customer-based, results-oriented operation with service you can trust.

That does it! I'm planting a palm tree in Hoboken first thing tomorrow morning. Please add New Jersey. (I'll let you know as soon as it dies or gets stolen...which should be by the middle of next week)
