I second that! He was the only one of the 4 who had no science background at all. He just responded to a help wanted ad.

It's not so much that Number 5 didn't want to be reprogrammed, but disassembled. Perhaps the spark of life would have gone out of him?

Never realized that the setting of the film based on "The Body" was moved from Maine.

Lots of Stephen King adaptations are set in Maine (which is King's home state) but don't really mention it specifically. I believe Shawshank, for example, is also set in Maine.

Stand By Me was based on something that actually happened while Stephen King was growing up in Durham, Maine. Although many of his movies are filmed in Maine, that one was done in Oregon for some reason.

Definitely big during the decade but they haven't really remained relevant in the decades following. I got both... but I could understand how someone born later might have never heard of them. Don't get much play on HBO.

Yeah, but they were just nice little movies. Do the Right Thing, at the time, was regarded as one of the most important movies of the era and seemed to start an entire genre. That it is last is shocking.

Nitpicky commment: on the first movie, he doesn't actually go back in time to ensure that his parents hook up. The latter arises from him messing things up. The time travel is an accident.
