How odd. I've never noticed that the preposition in the title of that Andy Kaufman movie was "on", rather than "in". That's what I love about this site - it makes you notice things you never knew about the things you thought you knew.

Likewise, I saw the clue, and REM's song starts going through my head, and yet I was sure the title was "In."

It wasn't until I took this quiz that I realised that Jim Carrey really likes Whoville!

You know what? I knew all these answers to some degree. I only missed Fun with Dick and Jane and Man on the Moon because I couldn't remember the actual title. I got the rest.

I'm not a big fan of his either, but the Truman Show is still one of my favourite films ever.

I've seen all of them but Fun With Dick and Jane (and only half of The Majestic). His over the top comedic shtick did get a little old after a while, but Liar Liar and Ace Ventura 1 & 2 are all hilarious. His work in The Mask was in many ways impressive. I also loved The Truman Show- touching, unique, funny, and beautifully acted. His performance in Man on the Moon was great. But my personal favorite is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I can't think of any more poignant film about the bittersweet emotions that go along with remembering both the good and bad times, looking back at the end of a relationship, and the conflict between wanting to forget and lose the pain, and wanting to hold on to the moments you shared with someone you once loved. Really beautiful movie, and both Carrey and Winslett were great in it.

Surprised not to see Me Myself and Irene, Horton Hears a Who, or A Series of Unfortunate Events on this quiz.

He was not a naive idiot in Yes Man. he was a cynic, who was convinced to say yes to everything at a seminar.

Who else but a naive idiot would be convinced by a seminar to say yes to everything?

While Carrey was easily the best part of that movie, I'd still say.. nah...

Anyone else think that Ryan Reynolds has had a similar career? Both Canadian, both took over Hollywood movies and interviews just by playing themselves over and over again ("It's a Jim-movie...), then their schtick started to get old after a few years.

The main differences seem to be that Reynolds-persona has worked in action roles, while Carrey has, in my opinion, been a bit more successful at stepping outside of his usual type (The Truman Show, Eternal Sunshine...)
