Not too difficult, but wondering who the guy on the right is in the Prime Minister question... I'm guessing most folks know the middle two...

Clement Attlee - Labour PM elected in 1945.

Well, in the main, it's fine for those in the UK. I didn't know two, or who the guy on the left is.

the "people buried at Westminster Abbey" one is a bit tough, though. I was a Westminster Abbey choir boy for about 5 years, but can't remember Elizabeth I being buried there (and if she is, then where she is, given that they (the royalty) are all buried down in the crypt where even those of us that worked there didn't get to go.

There's a massive memorial to Isaac Newton (in one of the other questions), though, and perhaps the most infamous burial there was the poet Ben Johnson, who was promised a place, but when the the time came he had fallen out of favour a bit, so to save using up valuable space for him, he was buried standing up.

The most famous person, of course, is the unknown warrior, contrary to the Chris Rea song which indicates that he is at the cenotaph up the road. The unknown warrior's grave is the only one that we were not allowed to walk on.

Seems reasonable in terms of difficulty. But I like learning from a featured quiz! I made four stupid mistakes, though.

Got 13/15 on the first try and this Yank is not exactly a whiz on British history, so I think it's a good quiz.

Hahaha...I guessed Jane Seymour not because she lived before the 1800's, but because she is an American actress. ;)

Got lucky on that one...

I'd argue calculus was a thing before Newton even if he pulled things together. There were calculus theorems before Newton.

Cromwell is all in how you look at it. It is true he died of sepsis, and it is true he was executed. Charles II made a point upon reclaiming the throne to assert that the grave was no refuge for Cromwell. His corpse was tried, convicted, executed, and quartered.

Rough times, but you kill the King and you make rough times.
