My original idea was that someone can see only picture when guess final aswer. But parts of picture are hiden answer components. I need to make sme kind of connection between final answer and components like in decoder quizzes, but I do not know ow to do that.
Great quiz! My suggestion would be that if you guess the map quiz question, it does not give you all the other answers. That way you'd have to answer all 17 questions to get maximum points. (I tried "Italy" after about 6 answers, after the shape of the country started to appear, then suddenly I couldn't answer all the other questions cos the quiz just stopped and gave me 100% anyway)
A complicated puzzle to make would be 'which countries create most interesting pieces of puzzles when divided in a 4 x 4 grid'? Where uninteresting pieces are for example A4 and B4 in the case of italy because they are all white - similarly all black pieces would be uninteresting. I wonder if Italy is first...
I think white pieces are important when you trying to imagine whole picture and you do not know all answers because white pieces (or black) are helping you wiht creating image in your head. Certainly 4 x 4 is not best solution for every country. We will see it in future :)
What a great idea for a quiz. I got the final answer pretty quickly though I first thought it would be Thailand or a country around it when I just had a few pieces of the puzzle.
As someone has already said, I guessed the answer almost straight away! For the largest Med Island I was thinking one of the Italian islands so entered Italy..Bingo! Quiz over :-(
Than this is the right time to ask you all, which version do you thing is better? This one or this? I can not promise, but maybe Quizmaster wants to make changes if majority likes second one. I am neutral here, just want to know what do you think so this kind of quiz can be even better. Thanks :)
liked the iceland one better cause it doesn't reveal the grid once you've guessed the answer before completing all questions. maybe don't show the coordinates of the tiles of the grid. but great work on both formats!
Nice! I wasted my time trying to spell the first person to reach the South Pole's last name tho. 😢 And by the time I ran out of time (Serbia's capital; don't think I'm ignorant, I almost got into my school final GeoBee before I moved) I could already see it was Italy. Try to put a country that nobody could tell until almost the end :)
The FIRST thing i typed in was Italy, because i thought the first question was asking for the country that the biggest mediterranean island belongs to. :D
Biggest mediterranean island is Sicily. The country that it belongs to is Italy. So when I answered "Italy" to the first question, I got the puzzle answer . . .
I typed in Italy first as I misread the first question and thought it said largest European country touching the Mediterranean Sea. I was not disappointed.
I guessed the hidden country first! I think the biggest island on Mediterrinean Sea belongs to Italy, and then - BOOM! Hidden country appear! Sorry for bad gramatics, i'm not English or American.
You could add a twist by shuffling the squares of the map! Otherwise, many countries, especially when they are as distinctly shaped as Italy, become recognisable very early. Still a great quiz!
This was an amazing quiz, first one in a while that really made me think. Good job! I did flub up and answer Italy for the first one tho lol, I rlly am stupid sometimes.
My spelling : Acra
P.S.
I am very disappointed in anyone who doesn't understand who I am talking about.
1/17 and i uncovered the puzzle.
