Stalag 13 was the name of the POW camp from Hogan's Heroes, which is what you must be thinking of. No relation to the movie Stalag 17.

This was a fun quiz and so many possibilities for additional quizzes - Tora, Tora, Tora, Mrs. Miniver, Diary of Anne Frank, From Here to Eternity, and if you really want to expand the parameters how about a comedy, Kelly's Heroes? And still on the lighter side, two of my favorite Cary Grant movies were Operation Petticoat and Father Goose. Nobody put the comedy in WWII like Cary Grant.

I think it would be a great quiz that had all of the ones listed and a few more. It's ok to have some quizzes that hardly anyone can ace.

Yeah, always fun to read the comments section of those quizzes. Needs more time! Who's ever heard of that one? Too American! LOL

The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas or The Pianist would also be good suggestions.

I thought it was a nice mix of films. Knew most of them and learned a few. I'll have to actually watch Downfall since I've seen about 100 of the parodies.

This quiz is centered on actual war-time films, so my comment is not a plea for inclusion of the film I'm about to cite here...which is POST-war. But it was made in 1946 and won the Best Picture Oscar, and in my humble opinion is one of the five greatest American-made movies ever: The Best Years Of Our Lives. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it, though it may be hard for the folks under 50 to fully appreciate.

HEY!!!! Can you PLEASE make it so that Bridge Over the River Kwai is also accepted?!?!? My entire family knew that was the answer, but I didn't get it because of a stupid THE I had to type. The time spent trying to figure it out cost me several other answers as well. So please!

It wasn't the stupid THE, it was the stupid OVER that was your problem. The correct title is The Bridge on the River Kwai. (I used to make that same mistake.)

since when was Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade set during WWII? it is set in 1938 a year before WWII broke out. Simply having Nazis in a movie doesnt mean its set in WWII. The Nazis came to power in Germany in 1933 Raiders of The Lost Ark is set in 193. Again before WWII broke out yet has Nazis in it. They were around a long time before WWII
