Should accept John Cougar because that was the name he performed under when "Jack & Diane" was recorded/released.

Anyone else at first puzzled by these odd "clue" words... Gary, French Lick, Brazil, Peru... Oh, they're the bizarre names of towns in Indiana!

I seem to remember French Lick being particularly funny to me when I was twelve and listening for school closings. It just sounded so dirty to me.

You should have added Jim Davis which the creator of Garfield. He and James Dean both are from Fairmount.

Added Jim Davis. James Dean moved to Santa Monica when he was six so I didn't add him.

Although James Dean did move to California as a child, he moved back to Indiana at age 9 to live with relatives after his mother died. He lived there for the rest of his childhood and graduated from Fairmount High School.

I know that hundreds could be added depending on how obscure you want to get, but I think famous enough would be Benjamin Harrison, Red Skelton, and Eugene V. Debs. (I would personally add Strother Martin, greatest actor ever!)

Love the Strother Martin love. The Trappers episode of Gunsmoke is one of the finest, and he is perfect in it. Anthony Caruso is another Hoosier who was a quality character actor of similar era and genre.

Suggest including Byrd as an alternate spelling given that is the usual spelling of that name, although apparently not the way Larry spells the name.

I'd suggest Reddenbocker as a type-in.

Lew Wallace should be on here (in my opinion). He was a civil war general and also wrote Ben-Hur, the famous novel.

If I had a nickel for every time an actor with the last name "Driver" had a large head, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but weird that it happened twice, especially since they aren't related to each other.

In terms of presidents, Benjamin Harrison seems to be a better fit than Lincoln, who is associated with Illinois and Kentucky more than Indiana.

Could you also perhaps add John Green to the list? Though he wasnt born there, he has spect more than half his life in Indianapolis and considers himself to be from Indiana.
