You know when you feel really tired? Like when you're putting in Uk, France, Ireland and getting nowhere so get really frustrated and close the quiz... Only to go back on later and realise it's the cities... Yeah, that happened. Great idea for a quiz though!

When will I get it in my brain it's Vientiane, not Tientiane?

Usually I don't complain about time, but there wasn't enough time for the amount of questions.

Missed the IJ and nothing else, though I had to guess on some. No idea what that even is.

Is this list exhaustive? Pyongyang is located on the Taedong River.

Uhh, no. There are 196 world capitals (according to Jetpunk), and a lot more than 26 of them lie on a body of water.

where are all the 'egghead ' so called pseudo geography experts bragging of their scores here , only 25 % of test takers know what river Amsterdam is on even when they gave you the name? PROOF that the list tests are taken repeatedly and then bragged on by fake test experts

Pretty sure the Amsterdam question used to be the IJ which is quite obscure and probably explains why so few people got it. I think it must have got changed when the quiz got featured to make it a little easier...

I think the percentages get reset when you change an answer, so the 30ish percent of people who got the answer was with the Amstel as a hint. Still, 30% is quite a good percentage of people in my opinion.

I am not sure I totally agree, I think (het) IJ has a bigger name for itself and is less obscure than amstel. But amstel is much easier to guess even by people who know neither. (Like if there was a river on here called Ndjam I would definitely guess Ndjamena though I have no idea about its rivers)

IJ is almost exclusively used in the Dutch language, so that should have given you either Amsterdam or Brussels. (I believe that Afrikaans has replace the IJ with I and/or J, but I could be wrong).

Afrikaans replaced it with the "y". In Dutch the "y" is sometimes pronounced the same as "ij" though when just talking about the letter.

I'm Ukrainian, and I should say that the correct way to spell my capital's name is Kyiv, not Kiev

Canada’s capital is on a River. Rivière Outaouais to be specific. Don’t know if it specifies as a body of water since rivière and fleuve which both translates to river in English can make it confusing.

Un peu trop évident à deviner puisqu'Outaouais et Ottawa sont en fait le même mot, qui se réfère au peuple qui vivait là. Un bonjour du Québec! ⚜️💙
