When I was in fifth or sixth grade I did a "state report" on Nebraska. I remember writing to the tourism office, which mailed me a lot of nice materials, which I appreciated.

Only missed the river. Only been to Nebraska once. We drove through there in 2000 on our way out to California. So many bugs in the air by the time we got to Wyoming it looked like we had slaughtered an animal on the hood of my car.

Funny enough, Nebraska has more miles of river than any US State (except perhaps Alaska).

Most of them are just wide and shallow, and meander across the landscape, with the exception of the Missouri River, which makes up the border with Iowa.

I've driven through Nebraska several times and this didn't sound possible to me so I did some research. According to the government's National Wild and Scenic Rivers website, Nebraska has only around 79,000 miles of rivers with 197 miles designated wild or scenic, while number one Alaska has around 365,000 miles of river. California, Montana, Oregon, and Idaho round out the top five in that order. https://www.rivers.gov/nebraska.php

Actually, I think you meant "passed by". I can't picture pioneers with basses playing next to the Rock in question.

When the Cornhuskers play a home football game, Memorial Stadium becomes the 3rd-largest "city" in the state. And the game day experience is absolutely off the hook. You don't even need to be a football fan to enjoy it all. I believe they've sold-out every home game since 1962.

5 end zone exits ain't enough. I'm an Iowa fan, and I hate going there because of it. That stadium is too large for 5 end zone exits.

This is I think is the only state quiz I've gotten 100% on first try.... which is odd because I've never even been to Nebraska

Can you accept "unicameral" for "cameral"? I tried "unicameral" multiple times but didn't get the answer. I've noticed a lot of quizzes that accept the whole word, so why not this one?

Feck that was hard. As a Brit quite a few of these answers/clues mean nothing to me. Gonna take me a while to get all of these.
