I tend to go along with ''ruftytufty' in this , the tower is concrete with steel ribbing, there is a lift inside that takes 7 minutes to reach the observation rooms, the working areas and main computer rooms. People work up there in the building. see ....................https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1qnS5gpX3I

Scotland has its own national song 'Flower of Scotland' and Wales has its own national anthem ' Mae hen wlad fy nhadau'. In Northern Ireland and England, "God Save the Queen" is still used as the official anthem.
+19
Level 55
Jul 13, 2020
God Save the Queen is considered the national anthem of the UK as a whole.

Shouldn't it be "God save the monarch"? After all it varies between King and Queen, depending on which imposter is on the throne at the time.

You misused comprise. You should probably replace it with "make up". The whole comprises the parts
+1
Level 74
Jan 28, 2022
No, the parts comprise the whole. The whole is comprised of the parts.
+4
Level 56
May 25, 2022
No, the whole comprises the parts and the parts compose the whole. Example: the Union comprises 50 states and 50 states compose the Union (thank you, American Heritage dictionary). “Is comprised of” is a less preferred construction.

From a programmers view, the UK's national anthem was not chosen wisely, when it needs to be changed with the gender of the current monarch.

Well, at least it doesn't have the name in it.

Or Rule Britania.
+1
Level 83
Jun 24, 2023
Both 'Land of Hope and Glory' and 'Rule Britannia' have extremely colonialist implications and probably aren't suitable to represent the country any more. Not that 'God Save the King' doesn't have its own issues, but still.
