If it's a Canada quiz, wouldn't the more Canadian question be "What Canadian city can be reached by driving south from Detroit?"?

No, Detroit is north of Windsor.

I think he means that the question should be framed in such a way that the answer is the Canadian city, not the American one.

Yes, I think that's what Jerry meant, and he phrased the question correctly, reflecting the fact that Detroit is indeed north of Windsor, despite Canada generally being north of the US.

Got 14 from south of the border. Should have got Bay of Fundy but the other questions I had no idea.

I tried all kinds of variation of Norse, Norwegians, Danes, etc. before trying Vikings. Maybe accept at least Norse?

Maybe add questions (or at least one) about Québec and the territories? The Atlantic provinces are a bit short-changed as well...

Otherwise, good quiz!

Perhaps just make more quizzes about Canada, and balance the questions out overall - this one seems fine as it is (of course, I'm from Alberta)

You know what, I just read all the questions again and you're right. Although it made me spot a little mistake in the 3rd question: What is "the" Canada's most populous city? No need for the "the"...

Yeah it's fine but since it's geography some big ones were missed such as which populous Canadian city is located on an island (Montreal), Town famous for whale watching an oceanic national Park (Tadoussac), Largest Province by size (Quebec), Most populated Province (Ontario), etc.

Every canadian should get 100% within that time limit, the toughest one to remember was the Grand Banks for me

Exactly the same for me. I finished with nearly two minutes still left on the clock. The only thing I struggled with was Grand Banks as well :)

I wouldn't have gotten all of these right if I hadn't been on Jetpunk so much within the last few weeks. I might have missed the names of the 2 biggest lakes entirely within Canada. I also definitely would not have guessed "Mount Logan", which I just learned about on another Canada-related quiz here on Jetpunk.

I thought the Bay of Fundy had the world's highest tides, without debate. Anyone know differently?
+1
Level 21

The bay of fundy doesnt just have some of the worlds biggest tides- It has the highest tides in the world. I used to liove in Nova Scotia and its really a special thing to see. the tides rise so fast and so hight its really cool. That whole area is really cool bc of the red mud aswell.

Major cities got kind of shortchanged: no Montréal, Vancouver, or Edmonton.
