The k doesnt actually stand for kilometres, but for 1000. It is used for money aswell (or basicly anything that can be counted). I understand the confusion, since it becomes 1k (1000) meters and it is actually where the k in km stands for.
Think someone mentioned it above, but surely u can accept "100m relay" or "100 metre/meter relay"...it's very clear what we're trying to say, the "4X" part isn't necessary
No it is actually another name for it (unless you knew that already and made a joke, but you seemed genuinely em not really sure what to call the emotion/behaviour (especially in english) baffled by the suggestion perhaps)
Why do men have to do 110m hurdles when women do 100m hurdles? What difference does 10m make? Of all the gender-based distinctions here, that one seems the most odd/arbitrary.
Mainly because of the difference in strides, 110m lets the men's hurdles be spaced further apart due to the general height difference between men and women
Ugh, I'm having a rough day. I literally thought to myself, "What's that event called where they jump three times?" Never did come up with the answer...
Probably worth explaining up top what the colour-coding refers to... I only worked out after the quiz was over what the blue and pink boxes meant. In hindsight it seems obvious but still no reason not to state it clearly
I couldn't find the translations ^^
Great quiz tho :)
