Reading this I somehow felt you meant kalbahamut was one of the answers. From his comments, he has travelled a bit too. Saudi Arabia wasn't mentioned however.

Geneva, Liverpool, Hamburg, NYC, Hyde Park, Washington D.C., Oxford, London, Jerusalem, Aquitaine, Bethlehem, Nazareth, Calvary, South Africa, Belgium, Normandy, Detroit, Santa Barbara,

Los Angeles, Rome, Gaul, Britain, Sandringham, Yaounde, Kolkata,

Lahore, Salt Lake City, St. Louis, Ohio, Illinois, Dublin, Paris, Kansas, Wales, South Pacific, Australia, Madrid, and I have seen Pentonville but not from the inside I'm glad to say.

Actually that's 37 not counting Pentonville Prison.

My list is St Petersburg, Moscow, Hamburg, Amsterdam, NYC, Washington DC, London, Cyprus, Jerusalem, Vienna, Bethlehem, Sea of Galilee (as seen from Umm Qais, I'm still counting it), Calvary Hill (which doesn't exist anymore, but I've been to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre), Normandy, Gary, Detroit, Santa Barbara, Bahrain, Los Angeles, Rome, Gaul (France), Britain (England), Alexandria, Pontus (NE Turkey), Paris, Salt Lake City, New York (state?), Ohio, Illinois, Little Rock, Philippines, Tokyo, Incheon... and not sure how south one has to be to be in the South Pacific but maybe that, too.

So that's actually 32 - 34 depending on whether or not New York and NYC count separately and whether Mindanao is the South Pacific or not.

I suppose we don't know for certain whether or not Earhart died in the south Pacific until a body is identified.

The latest theory points to Amelia Earhart surviving as a castaway on an island (Nikumaroro, Kiribati), and they are trying to verify evidence of this, including analysing skeletal remains thought to possibly be her.

It's very helpful if you're out of your element. Incidentally, it's not cavalry (which would have been a logistical nightmare), but Calvary.

Nice quiz, but I don't think, the description for Jesus is entirely correct. Most scholars agree that he was born in Nazareth, also there are no hints, that his dead on Gagulta is historical, so maybe just "Jerusalem" would be the safer choice.

Oh what!! Big blunder from Quizmaster, every single person would make the same assumption. Other clues are narrowed down too (South Africa, Philippines, Wales)

Thought he was born in London from this!..

OK. Since we're obviously in one-upmanship-mode here. These are my travels: Amsterdam, Groningen, Utrecht, Rotterdam, Volendam, (Neth); Munich, Essen, Hamburg, (Ger); Cherbourg, Lyon, (Fr); Caracas, Maracaibo, (Ven); Kralendijk, (Bon); Oranjestad (Aruba & Statia); Willemstad, (Cur); Bogota (Col); Basseterre (StK); Port of Spain (Trin); Bridgetown, Barb); St. George's (Gren); Charlotte Amalie & Christiansted (USVI); San Juan (PR); Santo Domingo (DR); Kuala Lampur (Mal); Toronto, Quebec & Niagara Falls (CA).

I may have missed a few, but then this is not all its cracked up to be, is it. (Ever awakened and not be quite sure for a few minutes, what country you're in?)

Apparently Ulysses S Grant also visited Scotland, Edinburgh particularly, because we sometimes have people asking to visit our church as he is supposed to have been here to see it, worship here even. I don't actually know all the details.
