Really nice idea and new feature.

However, altough I got a 100% here, I wouldn't consider this questions 'easy' for not jetpunkers...

I must confess I got lucky in 2 of them (the US related, obviously, which might be easy for you), but others might be trickier for people living further

Are you suggesting that the geography of Pittsburgh - America's 63rd largest city! - isn't the focus of intense education for students around the world? Guess y'all are too busy learning about kilohectaremeters and godless communism instead of the important stuff.

I know Chicago is on Lake Michigan, grew up there. Last night a friend mentioned the "lake effect" in Toronto, so that left Cleveland and Pittsburgh. I get the geography of the 3 "C" cities confused (Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati), so I guessed Pittsburgh. Lucky guess. 100%

@pitzikat, I struggle with Ohio's geography as well, but when reading about Cleveland I discovered its wonderful epithet 'Mistake on the Lake.'

Of course a kilohectometer is a thing. It's 100 000 meters, or 100 kilometers.

I am assuming that they aren't European as they have never been there according to their map

I was going to say the same thing. I also got 100% (no guesses, but a couple I had to think about for a second), but compared to some other quizzes on the site this isn't that easy.

I removed "easy" from the name of this quiz since you are right that it's probably not easy for most people.

If it helps with Pennsylvanian geography, the city on Lake Erie is called Erie, so Pittsburgh is further south.

I'm ethnically Sri Lankan, and I'm trying to get a grip on fact that the country is located in the northern hemisphere. Hold me as I re-examine the world map.

For Asia, I just think: "if it's north of Indonesia, it's probably northern hemisphere"

As for Brazil, only the top 4 countries in South America have any significant territory above the equator, while most of Brazil and Ecuador are south of it.

Yes, you are. Poland was a communist country, strongly influenced by the USSR, but was not part of it.

Agree, super easy. Probably elementary school level, though sadly isn't for your average American. Should be given an "easy" tag, at least for this crowd.

12/15. I could have gotten 13 but i spent too much time debating with myself if Britain made it to Indochina before France and if New Zealand was only part of the Dutch empire but I ended up switching my answer to the wrong one.

14/15, just missed Thailand because I kept going back and forth between Thailand and New Zealand, I thought both of them were British so I couldn't make up my mind, even though New Zealand was the more obviously British one

Sad only 50% got Karachi. I guess because for a city like Bhopal that most people are not familiar with, it's easy to assume that's the odd one out without looking at the other choices
