Tough quiz for us Yanks.

Only got 7 - but not too disappointed, being a Yank. I have to wonder, how easy or difficult is it for Brits?

You either know an answer or don't , maybe slightly easier for us Brits , but not excessively so. Thanks for taking my quiz

I got 14/15. About 12 were very easy, I had to think about two of them and make educated guesses. The one I got wrong I really should have got right, but I thought it was the county directly north (which wasn't one of the ones on the list).

It is easier if you are a Brit. I found it quite straight forward, one or two required a bit of thinking but it’s definitely easier for us Brits.

Wow I am shocked that the one about what percentage of people live in England is by far the lowest, it seems to me like that would be common knowledge especially compared to some of this more obscure historical or pop culture trivia.

Perhaps people think the population is equally spread ? Sometimes questions that you'd think were simple turn out to be harder? Who knows ?

i’m not sure the james bond one is really a question about the uk - i assume the number system isn’t real, so anyone who’s seen the films can get it and they only happen to be set in britain. maybe a question about wales instead?

James Bond is a fictional British character invented by a British author that works for the British Secret Service. Why wouldn't this be a relevant question ?

The James Bond question really didn't make sense. It may be true that 00 in the books and movies stood for something but if you include "he doesn't officially exist" as an answer, that should be the correct one as he doesn't officially exist like what

But I would think that everybody knows he is a fictional character, although I see your point. I'll have a think about the answers and see if I can come up with an alternative.

You should maporization to maporisation. It’s obvious that it isn’t the answer if it is in American English.

Sometimes it's nice to have an obvious answer, besides which it's a made-up word anyway, and in the UK both spellings of similar words are acceptable.
