Indus River in Hyderabad? Indus flows through Tibet, "North India" and Pakistan and Hyderabad is in "South India". I guess that the correct answer must be Karachi, though, I am not completely sure of it. So, please verify it before making the change.

I guessed Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, but...

It looks like it hits Hyderabad, Pakistan but misses all the others!

As is clearly spelled out in the directions. City proper population is a terrible measure. By city proper Indianapolis is a larger city than San Francisco. That's why we generally don't use it on JetPunk.

I know that Rio De La Plata was named a long time ago by someone long dead, but is it really a river? It looks more like a bay or gulf than a river to me.There is no apparent delta. It just opens directly into the ocean, there are several large rivers that flow into the same bay, and it's 140 miles wide. Not complaining about the question or expecting anything to be done about it. I'm just curious if I'm the only person that sees it that way.

I had the same thought. On a map it sure doesn't look like a river.

The 'Battle of the River Plate' was the first naval battle of WW2 resulting in the Germans scuttling the Graf Spee in the estuary. Big boats, big river, though it has to be dredged.

There's a Han river that flows through Shantou (my first guess), another one through Taichung, and third through Da Nang, plus the two accepted here through Seoul or Wuhan. Consider either choosing a different river for this quiz, or giving a country clue for Han River?

St. Louis is actually located just south of the Missouri River and doesn’t technically sit on its banks. Not sure how strict you’re being on your definition.

Hyderabad, India, is on the Krishna River, which never connects to the Indus. You must be thinking of Hyderabad, Pakistan, which is only about 1.5-2 million people, much smaller than Karachi, which ought to be the correct answer. I see that this was pointed out to QM 5 years ago and still hasn't been fixed. Please make the correction!
