Assumably, India is much higher because the cow is sacred in Hinduism. That’s why India has so many cows since you can’t butcher and eat them. Therefore, dairy is the way to go. Looking it up just now, woah! India has 300 million cows. China only has 50 million.

I went for that since I know India has some cheese dishes but most Chinese people I've met are lactose intolerant

My thought process too. Also because I can think of more Indian dishes that utilize milk/cheese/yogurt (e.g. paneer, mango lassi) than I can for Chinese dishes.

It is probably region dependent but my image of Indo-Pakistani cuisine is one in which cheese and especially youghourt are prevalent plus milky chai is a staple drink.

When I was in China, I became aware that people in the Mongolian areas consume milk, however aside from this milk was virtually absent.

Also paneer and ghee are found in many Indian foods. India is a wonderful place to be vegetarian, but not quite as easy to be vegan

It's funny how many ways there are to spell "yogurt"

Why do we get 8 minutes? That seems a little long for a multiple choice quiz. I'm not complaining, just curious...

Good quiz, but waaay too long of a time allowance - give people 3 minutes and let them sweat a little!
