Ok sorry but I highly doubt it. Like, you totally have. The only way to have never heard a Taylor Swift song is if you have refused to leave your house in 15 years and and locked yourself in your room, threw away your phone and never turned on your TV. Regardless of whether you like her or not, or whether you were even aware you were listening to her, you have heard her music. You really can't escape her.
Sorry Ulster, that wasn't meant to be a dig at you or others you don't use radios, TV, or phones--that's a personal choice and I can respect that. (Though I assume you still must use some technology as you're on JetPunk.) But the point I was trying to make is that she has so thoroughly permeated society and popular media that, unless you are a recluse, you have probably heard her songs at grocery stores, department stores, etc. To answer your question: yes, you probably have heard some of her most famous songs. If you have the personal inclination to do so, you could try listening to "Blank Space" or "Love Story"--those might ring a bell!
She is not that popular where I live, I don't watch TV or listen to the radio, I listen to the music I want to listen to, and contemporary pop is not what I want to listen to.
i'm not sure 'clandestine' really means 'illicit' - they're often associated, but clandestine is closer to 'secret'. maybe something like 'forbidden' or 'illegal'?
got stuck on illicit affairs and thought our song was love story at first tho
