I completely agree with ander217. All the others are technical computing terms. WoW is just a game that happens to be played on some people's computers.

I'm a web developer and people constantly assume that I'm into social media, which has never made sense to me. writing software and using that software are two totally different activities. The same applies to gaming, you don't need to know anything about computers to play WoW and people who are computer experts may or may not have any interest in it.

You can have a server that only does DNS and that would be a DNS server, but DNS itself is a service.
