Can you guess the movies whose plots are represented by the series of emojis?
Believe it or not, it is impossible to completely represent a movie plot using only emojis
As such, this quiz will require common sense

The specific monkey emojis you used in the 1968 example are a little misleading - any way you could just insert three random simians, rather than the blind/deaf/dumb emojis?

I tried See No Evil, Hear No Evil (Richard Pryor/Gene Wilder) for that one.

See No Evil, Hear No Evil (good movie) doesn't work for the astronaut or the Statue of Liberty. To me, the correct answer was obvious.

Richard Pryor was fantastic as an astronaut in that movie.

Blind, deaf and dumb? They're making fun of or laughing about something. I thought it was fitting.

I love this and I'm amazed how well people did, 50% or more for every single one, even though some of these movies weren't exceptionally popular. Fascinating how the mind works so well at some things.

At first this was really hard. But after I got one or two, it was like a dam broke, and they just kept coming to me. I ended up getting all of them with just over a minute and a half left. Very well done quiz!

Was there a hospital at the beginning of psycho? It would have made more sense at the end wouldn't it?

It doesn't even matter; in this case I think less is more. The shower and knife were all I needed. The first symbol just confused me because I couldn't tell what it was supposed to be.

Note that the symbol in question is next to the shoe emoji. Put together, they represent "Shoeless" Joe Jackson.

Babe was filmed in Australia, but I don't think it is set in Australia. This is debated on the Internet. The two prevailing theories seem to be that the setting is either the UK, like the book it is based on, or a deliberately non-specific location.

Level 60

If it is set in the UK, why does it feature American actors speaking with American accents? It's clearly supposed to be the US. Why they chose to film it in Australia is beyond me.

I didn't get the Wall-E one at all, i was 100% sure it would be The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and tried like 10 times to write it and just thought i must have a spelling mistake in there.

Even now i still think with these Emojis it could be either one of them.

But still, great and clever quiz.

The wastebasket doesn't really work for Hitchhiker's Guide, though. To really make it Hitchhiker's Guide, I'd probably replace the wastebasket with an explosion, and maybe add a fish. Sadly, there does not appear to be a towel emoji.
