I got seven, and I've never been to England or seen an English soccer game. I just typed a few random cities (I could have put more) and Chelsea, because I know that one.

Done. I think it's really neat that there are nearly 1000 clubs that could theoretically win the FA Cup, even if none of them ever do.

One of the coolest things about the British football scene is how many levels they have, connecting amateurs and pros in one huge ranking system. If you play for Thetford Town, you could theoretically go on a massive winnning streak and win the FA Cup!

1872 semi-final and final report:

Wanderers had drawn a hard, goalless semi-final tie with Queen's Park and won a place in the Final only because the Glasgow team could not afford to travel back to London for a replay.

The historic first Final took place at Kennington Oval on 16 March 1872, before a crowd of 2,000. At that time football matches were played without crossbars or goal-nets. There were no free-kicks or penalties, and the pitch markings did not include a centre-circle or a half-way line.

Wanderers also proposed an additional 30 mins of extra time to settle it, but Queens Park refused this. Extra time, or even deciding on any game lengths (90 mins) wasn't written into the laws until 1897.
