Reunion is a territory!

No, it's an overseas region and department, having the same status as metropolitan France's regions and departments. See the list of French territories here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dependent_territory#France

Why do people still argue about what should and shouldn't be a country? We all know what the countries are and what Jetpunk defines them as, stop trying to prove the quizmakers wrong by linking wikipedia pages of what some people say is a country. If it really gets your knickers in a twist then go make your own quiz

Hi CunnyBunny! You might prefer this link then: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfzLyPqko8w

I’m not arguing about the quiz nor about how Jetpunk, Wikipedia or the UN may define a country. Just reacting to an incorrect statement by the quizmaker with an argument. What’s wrong, doc?

Now if you want a trustworthy source: Article 73 of the French constitution. But I admit it’s still about what “some people” say their own country is.

There are plenty more French possessions further south than Reunion in Africa, especially if you include Kerguelen Island. Normal practice is that colonies don't count unless specifically mentioned as INCLUDED, but might be worth adding a rider here to state EXCLUDED. And, as usual, UK would otherwise beat France - Tristan da Cunha is at 37* 04' S!

It still says 100%, but JetPunk rounds the percentages to the nearest percent, so it's actually between 99.5% and 100%. Someone could have missed South Africa, but we would never know until the actual percentage is below 99.5%.
