I really enjoyed this very nice quiz. I also think it would be more appropriate to have the answer to the seat of German parliament read "Reichstagsgebäude" because it is the Bundestag that sits in the building, not the Reichstag. Too much baggage with that term, and you could still use a type-in for the answer.

Nice quiz, thought there may have been a question about the airlift though.

Nice one. The U2 question also brought to mind David Bowie's Berlin Trilogy (Low, "Heroes", Lodger).

There should be a question about Wim Wenders, but unfortunately Wings of Desire don't have Berlin in the English title.

Judging by my score, I think I'm more of a donut than a resident of Berlin.

Small typo, I believe it's Minnelli.

Nice quiz about my beloved hometown :) Scored 18 / 20 while missing the Minnelli and the "Achtung, Baby" album question.

Inb4 some people praise the US and Jesse Owens winning in Nazi Germany.

He was congratulated by Hitler himself.

Germany still outperformed everyone at nearly everything else.

Owens was best friends with the runner-up, a Nazi.

Owens wasn't invited by the White House or congratulated by any major officials in his home country where racism towards Blacks was way more rampant than in Germany, even at this time.

Hitler congratulated only German medalists on the first day and none from the second day on; Owens said that Hitler waved at him though. It's true that black people would experience less segregation in Germany at the time than in the US but there were hardly any blacks in Germany to begin with, and thus no basis for the same level of institutionalized racism against them. Yet there is no doubt that Hitler looked down upon Owens; Nazi ideology classified black people as "sub-humans" and they were subject to the infamous Nuremberg laws. One can rightly criticize the US for being very racist at the same, but to do so in favor of Nazi Germany is more than a stretch.

I love a Currywurst. Dirty German fast food as good as it gets.
