Nice quiz. Mutsuhito should be accepted for Meiji.

Seconded. Although I doubt anyone who knows the name Mutsuhito, wouldn't know Meiji.

Well I know both names but I rather call him Mutsuhito. That's how I first heard about him in history class anyway (that was in 96 in Belgium, but still...).

I agree because that was his name when he was actually living. Only dead Emperors are known by their respective era's name and it will not be wrong to accept Mutsuhito for Emperor Meiji.

It's not OK to apply double standards in Emperors names in my opinion. We know Hirohito as such but we actually should refer to him as Emperor Shōwa since he's dead. Akihito will be Emperor Heisei.

Every Emperor is something-仁(hito) or 子(ko) if it's an Empress when he/she's living since at least 500 years ago.

Very easy compared to the New York or American Cities version considering Tokyo is more globally known than New Orleans. I myself didn't knew I'm so good at Japan though <( ̄︶ ̄)>

Firebombing? That was the last word that came into mind. I tried atomic bomb, attack, nuclear bomb, nuclear attack, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, etc. but nothing.

Bomb alone works.

It had nothing to do with atomic bombs, nuclear bombs, Hiroshima, or Nagasaki.

However, the firebombing of Tokyo killed more people than any bombing attack in human history, including Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Tsukiji is no longer one of the largest seafood markets in the world. The main fish market has been moved to an island elsewhere in the city, and Tsukiji has been left as a tourist attraction.

Yep, just what I was gonna say. There hasn't been anything definitive statement yet but I think the smart move, and the move the Olympic Committee is eventually going to take, is postponing it. If they don't change anything there aren't gonna be a lot of countries that show up.

I didn't get the Pokemon hint (because I know next to nothing about Pokemon), but didn't need it anyway, having travelled around the region in question.

The other hint, though, got me the answer instantly, as those chocolates are absolutely everywhere in Japan.

I was thinking like wasn't it shōgun Tokugawa who moved the capital to Edo? And tried to think of emperors from that era, but couldn't come up with anything.
