This was originally two quizzes, but has been combined into one so that we could remove many of the harder answers.

How can twice as many people know the horse one (from the 1950s-early '60s) than the last one (running 7 years in the 2000s)? How old are Jetpunkers anyway?

How many "horse shows" are there? I don't know the song, but I know the name of two horse shows, Black Beauty and the correct answer.

I never saw it, but I couldn't think of any other show about a horse. Unfortunately, I typed "Ed" and it didn't take, and moved on, so I didn't contribute to your statistical observation..

Well, old, but gen x old, not as old as the show. I suspect anyone my age knows it from the reruns on Nick at Night in the late 80s/ early 90s though..

Never could make out the lyrics to the Batman theme. Mystery solved. It'll take me a while to memorize them, but I'll get there.

For those who remember Mr. Ed and Gilligan's Island, etc., see if you can tell which TV Show had a theme song with these as the lyrics:

Well now take down your fishin' pole

And meet me at the fishin' hole

We may not get a bite all day

But don't you rush away

What a great place to rest your bones

And mighty fine for skippin' stones

You'll feel fresh as a lemonade

A-settin' in the shade

Whether it's hot

Whether it's cool

Ohhh, what a spot

For whistlin' like a fool

What a fine day to take a stroll

And wander by the fishin' hole

I can't think of a better way

To pass the time of day

Here's a hint: the tune was only whistled on the show, never sung.

Answer: The Andy Griffith Show <-- drag mouse over to reveal answer.

36% got the "Na na na ..." one, despite probably being the one that the most people would know well enough to sing.

I missed that one. I couldn't get the tune right. Kept thinking of the song kiss him goodbye. I didn't know the schlemeel, schlemazel one either. A few others I guessed some popular shows and got lucky.

Lots of TV shows have a similar set of nonsense scat. If you don't know the time signature it can go lots of different ways. My first thought was the Banana Splits. Someone else mentioned the Smurfs. Both were na na na songs of shows that ran longer than the answer.

Actually the Smurfs theme used La instead of Na.

I got very frustrated at the "na na na..." clue. All I could think of was the old Saturday morning show, "The Banana Splits". But, there was one too many "nas". :-)

I always forget about the Brady Bunch! My mother loved the Partridge Family instead, so I must have tried spelling Partridge family a dozen different ways before giving up. No no... The OTHER bunch of kids family sitcom...

Batman is the 2nd lowest guessed??? *falls of chair* what?? It is like physically impossible not to say batman after reading nana nana nana nana. Even if the quiz was about something else, you couldnt help but go .. batman.. (like if the question was "how many a's are there in this sentence", the first thing my mind would produce is BATMAN! ow erm 10? no? let me count then .. nana nana nana nana batman!! hmm where was I...

I tried Married with Family three times, and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work. When I saw the answer I realized I had combined both of Ed O'Neill's shows into one. Duh.

Yeah, I know some American TV.

Following Don the Lamplighter's lead here is another partial set of lyrics for a theme song most didn't know had words:

We chased lady luck till we finally struck (title)

With a gun and a rope and a hat full of hope,

planted a family tree.

We got hold of a pot full of gold, (title)

With a horse and a saddle, and a range full of cattle,

how rich can a fellow be?

Yep, miscounted the "na"s and thought it was The Banana Splits, but of course that would have been "na na naaa na na na naaa...."
