I made the same quiz 3-4 years ago, yet it was not featured, but this one is. Why?

I'd say it is way too specific for a broader audience. Featured quizzes should usually get a certain percentage of right answers on average.

Okay that border between Croatia and Montenegro is actually not as small as I thought it would be.

It might be nice to put the neighbouring countries in alphabetical order again. Other than that, nice quiz!

What you recognise is irrelevant. Montenegro was a country in its own right throughout its history for hundreds of years in one form or another. Prior to 1920 it had never been a part of Serbia and its occupation by Serbia was illegal and illegitimate, a great thank you for the fact we saved your army in Mojkovac. Montenegro reclaimed its sovereignty during WW2 (when we once again saved your precious Belgrade from the nazis). We reclaimed again our total sovereignty after Yugoslavia fell apart by a majority of over 55% at a legal and internationally recognised referendum, recognised even by Serbia itself. Perhaps you ought to keep your fascist colonial ambitions in check and worry about the state of your own country which has no shortage of problems within its own borders. Tudje necemo, svoje ne damo!

Montenegrin is not a language, it's simply one of the four national standards of Serbo-Croatian. So at the very least 'Serbo-Croat' should be accepted as a type-in.

I find it odd that Serbia "joined" the UN 2000, yet the country was called Serbia and Montenegro at that time. Like Czechoslovakia in '93, Serbia and Montenegro broke up in 2006. Seems like a slight to Montenegro having Serbia in the UN since 2000, and Montenegro joining in '06.

Finland has just joined the UN, so South Sudan is not the only correct answer.
