Yeah.. I wouldn't say these are really clues... I got 1/24. And I'm a pretty smart cookie. This was too hard.

If you got 1/24 on these and claim to know any facts about the United States, you should probably stop claiming that. If you're not from the U.S., then I can see why these would be difficult.

It's okay to admit you just didn't know them. These are actually extremely basic, well-known facts about these states. I aced it no problem as an American.

You probably just don't know as much about the states as you thought you did.

Woah there bucko. As a fellow American, these are way too hard! Im from New York and have never heard of woodstock. That may just be me, but still, I am the kind of person to memorize countries and states and capitals for fun. These were way too hard even for an american, you are either just very smart or a fast typer.

This was one of the best quizzes I have yet seen here. Relevant and yet still esoteric enough. Very similar to what I would expect to see on jeopardy.

Esoteric means obscure or highly specialized. Is that what you meant? Like how many tons of potatoes does Idaho produce each year? That is esoteric.

You got me with two peninsulas. I was mentally covering every coastal state and couldn't figure out what I was missing.

Same here. It was driving me crazy. I was sure there was an error until I finally hit on the right answer.

Good quiz. Had to try a few states for Teddy Roosevelt to get the correct one.

Not that the answer for Teddy is incorrect but he recruited the Rough Riders at the Menger Hotel across from the Alamo. That is about as cowboy as it gets.

Woonsocket is a city, but Narragansett is a town.

Those two terms are commonly used interchangeably in the US

I'm always surprised by how few people know the Air Force Academy is in Colorado. Oh well, as a Coloradan I guess my POV is skewed.

Fun quiz! Just one note: The "Tears" in "Trail of Tears" should be capitalized.
