Perhaps I don't understand the question. Wouldn't South Sudan have one of the "most recently-founded" capital cities?

"Founded" is not the same as "became the capital." Juba was founded in 1922, according to Wikipedia.

Got everything except the mangrove one but should have guessed that. Same answer as another question and for the same reasons. Took several guesses to get Mexico. And got stuck on remote capital cities because I was typing in city names instead of country names for a while. The rest I found easy.

Yes, I came here to say exactly the same thing. The city was founded in 1998.

Astana is not correct, the city was founded in the 1800s. However, due to confusion like this, I don't love this category. If anyone can think of a better one please suggest. Especially, if the answer is not China, the United States, Indonesia, or other usual suspects.

Another possible one would be Countries Furthest from Kazakhstan - #4 (Chile, Argentina, Uruguay).

Astana was made the capital in 1997 but the city is much older than that. And apparently now it's not Astana anymore but Nur-Sultan. It used to be called Akmola, but was renamed Astana in 1998. 3 months ago they renamed it again in honor of their president who resigned the same month after almost 30 years of autocracy, corruption, and human rights abuses. Yeesh.

Mangroves, is a transitional coastal ecosystem between terrestrial and marine biomes. The term applies to humid areas characteristic of tropical and subtropical regions, associated with the margins of bays, inlets, bars, mouths of rivers, lagoons and coastal recesses, where river waters meet with that of the sea, or directly exposed to coastline, subject to the tidal regime and dominated by typical plant species, to which other plant and animal components are related.

Contrary to what happens on sandy beaches and dunes, the vegetation cover of the mangrove is installed on substrates of recently formed vases, with little declivity, under the daily action of salt water tides or, at least, brackish.

The term "mangrove" also applies to tree species characteristic of this natural habitat.

Most recently founded capital city?... Good trick question. Without thinking it sounds like you are asking for the city most recently to become a capital, not the most recently founded city that is also a capital.
