I learnt something on this quiz,I had no idea on the art school question. Looks like I am in a tiny minority there.

Quite famous in history, memes etc. "Austrian painter" is sometimes used as euphemism, as a joke but also to avoid automatic censorship/moderation.

As a painter, he wasn't terrible. Which is to also say, he wasn't great. His choice of subjects was hardly thrilling and he didn't do much to elevate them artistically either. It was all rather vanilla. I suppose that's why someone would want to attend art school --- to work on composition, theory, color, style, materials, etc. Guess the Academy didn't see enough of a certain kind of talent in him to grant him admission.

My wife had a summer job working for the US Army (in a "temporary" building dating from WWII; this was in the early 1970's) in their art and propaganda department, where Hitler's watercolors were archived. She says they were flat, with little affect or emotion; any human figures were small and indistinct. The architectural details were okay, on the other hand.

Genuine question, why isn't Gaddafi's killing considered an assassination?

I can see it as debatable so I changed the question.

D'oh! You're right - although Caesar is still clearly the better answer. In any case, I changed the question to "Actually held the official title of Dictator".
