There are some apostrophes missing from the genitive forms. All in all, it's a good quiz!

P.S. Who is that on the photo? (I've only read the books and seen the first film)

Please accept "Scotland" for the country or don't accept "England". They're equally correct and incorrect as parts of the story are set in both countries.

Also, as many people have pointed out, saying that the basilisk kills people in Harry's second year is factually incorrect. It petrifies people. It only killed one person and that was 50 years before the book.

I kept thinking The Dementors were called Death Eaters for some reason. Makes sense even though I'm wrong.

The death eaters are Voldemort’s supporters. They include Bellatrix Lestrange, Lucius Malfoy, and Snape.

Don't know why but I thought it said What is Harry's mothers maiden name? Tried "Evans" and then gave up when it didn't accept. But yea, anyone who has read the books should do pretty well in this one.

Just so you know, a lot of people from the UK wouldn't call the UK their country, but their nationality. They would use their individual country. It might be more straightforward to change it to what nation are the books set in, or, accept Scotland as well considering that's where most of the books take place.

Good general quiz, for non-(diehard)fans they take quite a bit of thinking but are get-able. Good balance for this quiz imo. (obviously a piece of cake for the real fans)>

A good question might be what helps when you eat it to feel better after a dementor attack. (I know there are plenty to be asked, but I think it is one at the right level of knowledge :) )

I missed 4, peeves, yule ball, nagini and horcruxes. I think the last one was the only only I might ve gotten with more time, but maybe not, could only think of the name of it in my language which has nothing similar at all (gruzielement). And I was trying (variations of) nearly headless nick for the poltergeist.

I've never read the books or seen the movies . I took the quiz just to see how much information you can absorb just by something being so popular and talked about in TV and in magazines etc .I was expecting to get about 5 correct and I got 17 . Just shows how much popular culture you can pick up without even realizing it.Same for me with Star wars ,I saw the first three as a kid but was never a fan but so much info seeped in.

Please add for the headmaster question:

- Armando Dippet (Tom Riddle/Voldemort/Rubeus Hagrid's time)

Feb 28, 2023
A couple of nitpicky gripes:

- There were multiple headmasters (Dumbledore, Umbridge, and Snape) and potions masters (both Snape and Slughorn) when Harry was at Hogwarts so that's a bit confusing.

- The Yule Ball was "held by the school" in the winter; it was held by whatever school was host for the Triwizard Tournament.

- The most annoying to me is Luna's earrings, which were dirigible plums, not radishes. They are magical orange radishes that float. It's only annoying to be because they mention that like 50 times in the 5th, 6th and 7th books.

Just a couple things. Good quiz overall. Check the apostrophes after things like "Harry's mothers name" (needs an apostrophe after 'mother's' too).
