Greenland's status is a bit confusing:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenland_and_the_European_Union

Greenland left the EU in 1985 an today is associated with the EU as an OCT of Denmark (overseas countries and territories).

Whine if you must.

cheeky putting Brazil and Suriname in there! but surely by that logic you should inlcude Argentina as an answer for example as it borders British Antarctic Territory etc.

French Guiana is actually a part of France and part of the EU, whereas the British Antarctic Territory (and many other overseas territories) is not part of the UK or the EU.

Be more specific with your quiz because although you are including territories in your answers, the territories are NOT apart of the EU.

French guyana and the cities in north africa is most definitely a part of EU. You may check up the pages of EU for information

the EU does not give a frick about physical geography, it doesn't matter if a country is in europe or not, it's just a political union

its sad that this quiz has been downvoted so much just because people dont understand that French guiana and Spain's Moroccan territories are parts of the EU. great quiz!

Yep, it is crazy to see that so many people can't see that French Guiana or Réunion and Ceuta/Melilla or the Canaries are to France and Spain what Alaska and Hawaii are to the US...

Considering the UK left the EU, and Cyprus was part of the EU anyway, your point is invalid.

Actually it still doesn't work, as Northern Cyprus is itself legally in the EU (by virtue of the EU recognising it as part of Cyprus).

idk what happened to greenland, though i think it should still count because it is still part of denmark, and greenland also shares a tiny land border with canada so therefore canada should be on this list too

Technically (the Kingdom of) the Netherlands should be on here as well. The French half of Saint Martin is part of the EU as an outermost region (like French Guiana), while the Dutch part (Sint Maarten) is not (it is part of the "Overseas countries and territories" just like Greenland).
