Cool idea for a quiz, thank you. One problem I see: the second-last hint asks for a pair of cities, but you only have one space for the answer. I guessed Brazzaville and it wasn't accepted. Can you either have two spaces so we can fill in both cities, or accept either one as the answer?

I was also lost as to what this question required - the wording is very strange. Apart from that, good level of difficulty. I like a quiz that teaches me something.

Brazzaville would have worked.

For a single city, could only think of Buda(-)Pest.

I tried that too because of the wording of the clue.

Yeah, that question is a bit strangely worded.

If you want the clue to be changed, edit Wikipedia. ;)

It's not a question - the question, if that's how you want to think of it, was: which city includes the following on its Wikipedia page? As such, if that description was on Kinshasa's page, then it's all good.

It's still a bizarre clue. I understand that it's quoting Wikipedia, but it makes no sense out of context. Maybe select a different part of the text?

67% of people are getting it correct. Kinshasa and Brazzaville came to mind immediately as being capitals that are very close to each other. Either one works. I don't see any issue with the clue.

It makes total sense. I tried Vienna and Bratislava first, Kinshasa/Brazzaville was the obvious other option.

One of those quizes that as you go through and read some of the clued you think "WTF is that, how am I supposed to get that!?" Then you see the answer and you think "oh, yeah, ehhh that makes sense."

Pretty sure that yellow box got me a few times as well.

Monaco comes from the greek monoikos (which means single house), and munich comes from monks. (We also have a town formed from the word monks. Monnickendam, which is (quite obviously) monks (or monk's) dam.

probably there are more names that derive from the word for monk but i cant think of any from the top of my head. Monaco isnt one of them though, despite the coincidences :)

I like how the Red Square seems to have appeared out of nowhere, just a naturally occurring square.
