It is bounded by Mexico and Central America to the west and south west, to the north by the Greater Antilles starting with Cuba, to the east by the Lesser Antilles, and to the south by the north coast of South America.

Florida only borders the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico, just like the northern coast of Cuba. The southern coast of Cuba does border the Caribbean.

I thought the last one was Dominican Republic, but the ratio with Haiti seems to be *only* 9.

Isn't Russia Europes largest oil exporter? I don't want to start the whole Asian/European debate here, but on JP, Russia is usually considered European.

Excluding it does make the question more interesting though, so I'm all for it, but I think you should mention it somehow.

I haven't looked it up but I believe Russia is a large oil producer, but does not really export as much. They consume most of what they produce.

Only missed Turkey and South Korea. I had "South" typed out when I ran out of time :(

As a Colombian it is sad that the clue for our country is Escobar a murderer, drug traficker and worst of the worst. Try our coffee, which is one of the best in the world

Don't gatekeep. Complain about Escobar. Complain about Nazis. Complain about clues that perpetuate dated, negative stereotypes.

Yeah, stick your heads into the sand instead of noticing and admitting problems. If Escobar is the best clue for Colombia, it's not the rest of the world's fault. I'm not saying it's the fault of Colombia's people either, but like it or not, they are the ones who have to change that, not the rest of the world. Also, Germany was the bully of Europe long before Hitler was ever born. Stereotypes exists for a reason.

Actually, I think stereotypes exist for two reasons: ignorance and apathy.

I get the sentiment, but coffee isn't uniquely Colombian. I'm sure we could find something else, though.

You can really find another clue other than Escobar for Colombia, it gets old.

Suggestions like this are unconvincing without a proposed solution. Someone suggested coffee since Colombia produces some of the best in the world; except so does the U.S., Mexico, Indonesia and Ethiopia, among others. I'll admit my ignorance of Colombia and say that I don't have a better clue to offer.
