You're probably way too young to catch the reference, or the humor. In the early 80s, after he retired, Fran Tarkenton was the host of a TV program about human feats called "That's Incredible!"
For the curious, you can find a clip of Tarkenton with a 5-year-old golf prodigy--who turns out to be Tiger Woods--on YouTube.
I don't know him that well I learned him from jet punk lol Im a huge football fan. Also Unitas was a lot older then Tarkenton so you can't really say that. Tarkenton isn't really that known as much As Unitas ad the other guys.
Moon would've had many, many more had he not been forced to go win eleventy billion Grey Cups in Canada for the Edmonton Eskimos before getting a shot in the NFL.
Ah yes, the days when if you were Black, they tried to make a wide receiver out of you, no matter how pretty your spiral or solid your pocket presence. If you didn't watch him in those years, you missed a lot of his prime.
you should get some counseling or something, man. I'm serious. Can't go through your whole life pissed off and obsessing about something that was made up in the first place.
I agree because those first two statements are absolutely true. Moon was forced to go to Canada to play because no NFL team wanted him as a QB and only asked him to play other positions if he signed a free agent contract. Along with many other QBs during that time who were black.
Although that is never going to happen, Tampa Bay could do pretty well this season. When watching their game yesterday, I noticed that they actually have a stacked roster and got some pretty impressive recruits during the offseason: Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, Ndamukong Suh, Ronald Jones, Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, LeSean McCoy, O.J. Howard, Leonard Fournette, to name a few.
Plus, if having a Cardinal-red face earned points, Bruce Arians could be added to the list
dont complain about it, make one! by the way, JetPunk for the most part is North American/European, so don't expect a lot of quizzes about India/Pakistan/Indonesia.
I got Brady, Favre, Manning, Elway, and Marino. I should have remembered Joe Montana, though. And I've at least heard of Unitas, Moon, and Bradshaw. The other names you could mention and I'd have no clue who you were talking about.
Well that explains your comment earlier and what nonsense you made about Moon and the CFL. If you did not know the circumstances of the situation, please refrain from making ignorant comments.
Adding teams made this too easy for me. I would have loved a team-less challenge. Also, I would have put Titans for Oilers, since that's the franchise. But I understand he did it while they were the Oilers.
golden age of QBs coming to an end: Brady, Brees, Manning brothers, Rothlesburger, Rivers, Rodgers, etc. That being said, there's a whole lot of young talent right now that will give these guys a run for their money
If you're old enough, you can roll your eyes at that one.

Let me know when Tom Brady, age 74, has won more than 219 games with the Bucs.

(as a Seahawks fan I hope it will be sooner though)

Most quarterbacks would be lucky to have a single 12 win season.
