I wasn't surprised that Saudi Arabia is not on here, but I was surprised that the UAE didn't show up on the per capita side.

Monaco Lamborghini sounds exactly like a super rich European villain in an American TV show

Italy's not on that list?

For those saying that the Monaco dealership is in France, that column isn't asking about number of dealerships per capita, it's asking about number of vehicles per capita.

Uh no, pretty sure it's not. It's asking about number of dealerships per capita.

Evidently, you can't walk down the streets of Tallinn without tripping over a Lamborghini dealership.

Seriously, WTF is up with Estonia? Not a rich country!
+3
Level 76

Not a big country either, so all it took was one dealership, which apparently there are enough rich people to sustain.

It's not that poor either. I don't know much about Estonia, but looking at stats like HDI and GDP per capita, it seems to be only slightly behind countries like France and Italy in terms of development.

One of the fastest growing economies in the world along with the other Baltic countries. Estonia went from Soviet hellhole to an IT paradise in a few decades.

Estonia is full of young IT professionals from other European countries. Its also a tax haven for non residents. In addition, its a two hour ferry to Helsinki -- many Finns go here for private medical, alcohol, and probably sports cars. Its also about 3-4 hours by ferry to St Petersburg and less by train -- oligarch weekend shopping trips (until recently). I saw a middle aged man bottom out his Lambourgi in the old town -- really impressed the young blonde he had with him.

It's so unlikely but there's a high risk-reward ratio there, because you only need one dealership there to get 1212 dealerships per million inhabitants, which would top the list.
