So all countries where the main language is not English?

In English, the language of this quiz, the river is spelled Volga. If you wanted to make a German, or Dutch, or Polish, or Turkmen quiz, then you could spell it Wolga and not Volga.

I don't know why people have to be so aggressive about this. You should congratulate people who speak English as a second, third or fourth language for making the effort of visiting this page and actually taking quizzes in another language. What would it take it away from you if quizmaster decided to make it just a little bit easier for them (he may, he may not, I'm not saying that he necessarily should, that's totally up to him)? Is it an inferiority complex? Is it because you think your country is being overrun by Mexicans? I really don't get it.

@dunkinggandalf2 I agree with the gist of what you're saying, but it is painfully ironic to watch you imply that someone with the name 3nchiladas is racist against Mexicans.

@dunkinggandalf2 If you enable spellings from all languages, the creator will never sleep. It's an english quiz, get over it.

The point is we can't reasonably include every foreign language spelling so generally none are included. Of course there are exceptions.

I think zissers4 is referring to the origins of the river in India--although according to Wikipedia it begins in the Tibetan region of China, then passes through India on the way to Pakistan.

No, it's not. Don't you have a map? Only a very minor part flows through India, the vast majority is in Pakistan. It's like saying that Tigris is not Iraqi river, but rather a Syrian.

Oh please, I'm sure plenty of Europeans know about the Bay of Fundy. It famously has the world's highest tidal range. If you didn't know about it before, no big deal, but implying that it's too obscure for a European to have heard of is a bit much.

In the interest of pedantry, the Indus River valley was home to an ancient civilization. The Indus River was home to fish.
