Really? 15 questions. 1 book in Classic Greek, 1 in German, 1 in French, 1 in Spanish, 1 in Russian, 10 in English.

One could claim that this is an English speaking site and English literature should be given preference. But to pretend that this test is somehow a good representation of world's literature is just delusional.

It doesn't say anywhere that it represents world literature. Really it represents the Anglophone canon pretty well. The problem is that the Anglophone canon is terrible where translated works are concerned.

I got the Les Mis question from reading A Tale of Two Cities, and I got the War and Peace question from the TMNT movie (1990).
