It's called cutlery in a lot of places too. And I don't know if flatware is accepted or not but it probably should be.

If you typed "utensil", it definitely would have worked. Spelling error, perhaps.

utensil seems an odd word to choose. It's a very broad category applied here to a very narrow list. Wouldn't cutlery be better as the category answer rather than the also accepted answer?

Missed a couple, but I think it's a cultural thing- as I have no idea what a Cape Cod house is!! Surprisingly difficult in places.

Could "belief system" be made an alternative for anarchism, hedonism, etc.?

I always thought cutlery was the stuff you ate the food with and utensils were the things you made it with? No? Still, cutlery should at least be an accepted answer.

+1
Level 84

House is the physical object. Home is an abstract concept - where do you come from, where do you feel safe, where do you live? While the physical structure may be part of that, it isn't necessarily the defining feature. For example, a person living in an apartment may not own a house - but they have a home.

"Anarchism, Utilitarianism, Hedonism"

Types of ethics is better.

+1
Level 74
Jan 6, 2021
Hedonism has nothing to do with ethics. Going about life and saying "yes" to every pleasure is neither ethical nor unethical. For ethics you need more than one person and hedonism is only about yourself, it's about how you seek to achieve happiness.

Why does the "grass" clue have four examples instead of three? The quiz description specifically says "We give you THREE examples..." That really threw me off, I assumed one of the commas had to be a typo. I was trying to guess whether the examples should be "Blue Crab, Lemon, Switch" or "Blue, Crab, Lemon Switch" or similar.

should accept cell or electric cell or voltaic cell or galvanic cell for battery. A battery, (correctly an electrical battery to distinguish it from, say, an artillery battery) is two or more cells.

It's obviously true that it's used nowadays also for individual cells so I won't argue with accepting battery. But shouldn't the correct, albeit now less frequently used, term also be accepted and, preferably be the displayed word?
