Fun fact:

If you say that second city name in Mexico, people will think on a household local company of bakery goods (which are very good, I might add), or its beloved mascot, a polar bear with a white apron and a chef's hat.

Now, for the funniest part: If you consume a mass-produced bakery good, no matter where in the world you are, there's a pretty good chance you're consuming a brand owned by that very company. Unless you're in Oceania, they have no presence there... at least, not yet...

Another fun fact: Ubangi is an anagram of Bangui

It's no coincidence either, the city is named for the French word for the river, Oubangui.

I think Bokassa claimed himself an emperor in 1976. In 1979, he was already overthrown.

Emperor Bokassa crowned himself emperor in 1976 (with a coronation in 1977), not 1979. 1979 is when he was deposed.

If you were wondering about the magnetic anomaly:

Wikipedia states that it is theorized to be caused by either a Igneous Intrusion (rock under the Earth cooling and forming by magma cooling/crystallizing) or a meteorite impact in the Precambrian era, with more support of the meteorite theory

The movie is inspired by Lesotho. Also, they speak Xhosa in the movie which is from South Africa.
