I couldn't believe the 70 was referring to the price to get into Graceland, but...

Adult 11 and up $73.00

Youth 5-10 $42.00

Children 4 and Under** FREE

You have to love the obnoxious capital letters they think are enticing you with the generosity that 3-year olds don't have to pay to see rhinestones and shag dens.

Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill are called the Research Triangle because they house three prominent universities (NC State, Duke, and UNC-Chapel Hill, respectively) that do a lot of research work.

Tennessee was last to fall, and to be honest I was just guessing random states at that point. But Dr. Google explained it to me. California, though? What are the words that killed the dream? What is the impossible high-speed train? Why is NIMBY particular to California? Google has not helped on any of those.

California proposed building a high speed train between L.A. and San Francisco. But after more than a decade, with huge delays and cost overruns, all they finished was a mostly-useless segment that doesn't reach either city. It is famously impossible to building anything in California due to NIMBYs (not in my backyard) and the more extreme BANANAs (build absolutely nothing anywhere near anything).

The Washington clue references Seattle (biggest city in the state) and commercial juggernaut Amazon, which is headquartered there. The Tennessee clue apparently refers to Graceland, former home of Elvis and now an expensive tourist attraction.
