It depends on what is meant by 'average'-- are we talking about the mean, median, or mode. Since the average isn't given in percent, but just the number of correct answers, the mean value (all scores / number times taken) only needs to be 4.5 to round up to 5. Median and Modal values are even more likely to be 5 in this case.
+6
Level 67
Jan 4, 2019
The average is the mean. Median and mode are not the average. They are related but different values.
+3
Level 70
Jan 6, 2019
There are lots of different types of average. "The average" is often used to refer to the arithmetic mean, but the actual term "average" is not very well defined. It is however generally accepted that the median and mode are types of average.

I agree, it is impossible to get an average score of 100% if only one person got one wrong.........who taught you maths relesness.
+9
Level 47
Jun 28, 2016
Sorry but that's not the maths in question. It's all about rounding. If the average was 99.56% for example, that will come up as 100%. If the average mark was 4.6 then the average mark would be rounded up to 5.
+4
Level 70
Jan 6, 2019
@Relessness, percentages are completely irrelevant here. Henceforth was originally saying that if the average score is 5 (i.e. 100%) that should mean nobody has ever missed one. This is correct. Malbaby is correct too. It's just that the average score isn't 5, it's slightly less than that (about 4.68 as of now) but was rounded up to 5. There is no real reason to round up to the nearest integer, so the "who taught you maths" comment was a bit unnecessary.

The Himalayas are present in Myanmar as well. While Wikipedia does not list it in the narative for Himalayas, it DOES list it on the right hand side of the Wiki page under the Geography picture if you click the countries. Additionally, if you look up Myanmar on wikipedia, you will also find reference to the Himalayas in there as well. Most pointedly, the Hkakabo Razi is the Myanmars highest mountain, according to Wikpedia, and that is located in the Greater Himalayan Mountain Range.

I typed Tibet, which was accepted as China. I don't think the Tibetans would agree with that. The Chinese government may claim sovereignty, but that's open for debate. If you are going to accept both answers (as you should), then the answer displayed should include both. So Tibet/China or Tibet (China).

It isn't really open for much debate. Tibet is occupied by China and therefore a part of China, not its own sovereign country.
