I think Adventures of Link should be acceptable for Zelda 2.

Awesome quiz, I know you didn't make the list, but I was surprised by how many games weren't on there.

I tried to enter Castlevania 2, and when it didn't accept it I thought that was just because it wasn't on the list. Because it sucked. But I guess I just spelled it wrong. By far the most glaring omission on this list is arguably the deepest and easily one of the best games ever on an 8-bit console: Genghis Khan. They could have recognized Nobunaga's Ambition or Romance of the Three Kingdoms as well, but Koei got snubbed.

Or maybe I typed in "Simon's Quest" which I noticed this time around is not accepted.

I respect Castlevania 2 for shaking up the formula, and I think it did do a lot of things right. Overall it's actually my favorite of the 3 NES Castlevanias. However, it did have a few really big problems, many of which stemmed from poor English translations destroying vital hints about where you're supposed to go.

Castlevania 2, Zelda 2, and Super Mario Bros 2 all tried to change the formula. Fans complained. Castlevania 3, Zelda 3, and Super Mario Bros 3 all went back to a similar formula, but improved. And they're all lauded as among the best games in the series.

Man i had SO many of these games. I am VERY surprised to not see paperboy on here. I was so addicted to that one. I'm pretty sure my first cuss word was at that damn old lady that came charging out of her house waving that broom. I'M JUST DELIVERING YOUR PAPER LADY!!!

I'm somewhat sad to not see Soloman's Key on here. Undoubtedly one of the top 100 games on NES. I also second the disbelief that Paper Boy was not here.

Original Tecmo Bowl is far better than Super Tecmo Bowl and the fact that RBI Baseball, Double Dribble, or any of the Bases Loaded games aren't on here make this list a joke. But hey you didn't forget Little samson. Dumb list.

Bases Loaded was a fantastic game, agreed. I forget which version I had but it was really good for an 8-bit sports game. I also had World Class Track Meet but the floor mat never worked on mine. :-(

Wow, I only got 49 of them and that beats 97% of the people who took this quiz. That just goes to show what a tough one this is.

I have to agree that Paperboy seems like an obvious one (not so obvious that I remembered to try it though). I can't believe IGN forgot to put that on the list.

70/100. Very challenging!! I'm kicking myself that in my flurry I missed Dr. Mario and Double Dragon III but managed to get obscure titles like Demon Sword and Section Z. Plug for my new Final Fantasy quiz: http://www.jetpunk.com/user-quizzes/121975/final-fantasy-series-quiz
